Custom Agent Flags: letting the business say anything about any agent

Product Manager — AI & Enterprise Platforms · delivered May 2026

The problem

eXp Enterprise is the system of record for all agent data across the U.S. and Canada — but the record could only say what its schema anticipated. Departments across the company needed to say something about an agent that wasn't within the regular scope: which agents belong to the company's agent networks (the eXp Pride Network, the Black eXp Network, the eXp Military Network), which agents are in the luxury program with its entirely separate vendors and partners, and dozens of department-specific distinctions — each needing reporting, and each needing to reach the analytics stack. It was a long-standing gap between the agent record and the vendors and systems downstream of it, and the feature was widely requested — from outside vendors to sister subsidiaries to teams running the internal networks.

What I did

Outcome

Delivered May 2026, tested end to end, into visible demand: multiple project epics across different teams were queued on this feature in Jira, waiting to build on it. What was true after wasn't true before — the systems that describe agent connectivity could finally be connected, closing the gap between the agent record and everything that consumes it.
